Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Cproat. By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Cproat ("we", "us", "our", or "Cproat"), a software service operated from the Republic of Turkey, governing your access to and use of the Cproat platform and all associated features, APIs, and content (collectively, the "Service").

By registering for an account, clicking "I agree", or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization or legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" shall refer to that entity.

These Terms were last updated on May 1, 2025. We may update them from time to time as described in Section 17.

2. Service Description

Cproat is a business-to-business (B2B) lead generation platform that enables users to discover potential business customers and partners by searching publicly available business information. The Service provides:

  • Business discovery searches: Users can search for businesses by industry category, geographic region (city, district, country), keywords, and other filters to identify potential sales prospects.
  • Business profile data: Search results include publicly available information about businesses such as business name, address, phone number, website URL, category, and ratings sourced from Google Places and other public data sources.
  • Search history: The platform stores a history of your searches for your reference and to improve your workflow.
  • Saved leads: Users may save and organize specific business results for follow-up and export.
  • CSV/data export: Saved leads may be exported in machine-readable formats for use in external tools such as CRM systems, subject to plan limits.
  • Credit-based access model: Accessing individual lead records consumes credits from your account balance, as described in Section 5.

The Service is intended for commercial and professional use only. Cproat is not a consumer service and is not intended for personal, household, or non-commercial purposes.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • Use the Service in the course of a legitimate commercial activity or for bona fide business prospecting purposes.
  • Not be a person or entity that is barred from receiving services under the laws of Turkey, the European Union, or any other applicable jurisdiction.
  • Not be located in, or acting on behalf of, a person or entity located in a country or territory that is subject to a comprehensive trade embargo by the Republic of Turkey or the United Nations.

By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. Cproat reserves the right to verify eligibility and to decline or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration and Responsibilities

4.1 Registration

To access the full features of the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information including your name and a valid email address. You agree to keep your registration information up to date.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree to:

  • Choose a strong, unique password and not reuse passwords from other services.
  • Not share your account credentials with any third party.
  • Immediately notify us at info@cproat.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it, until you notify us of a compromise. Cproat will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4.3 One Account Per User

Each person or legal entity may maintain only one account unless expressly authorized by Cproat in writing. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, accumulate credits, or abuse the Service is prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts.

4.4 Account Accuracy

Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.

5. Credit System

5.1 How Credits Work

Access to detailed lead records within the Service is governed by a credit-based system. Credits are the unit of account used to measure consumption of the Service's core search and data retrieval functions. Specifically:

  • Each individual business result you view or reveal in a search consumes one or more credits from your account balance, as specified in the pricing plan you have subscribed to.
  • Performing a search query itself may consume credits, in addition to any per-result credit charges, depending on your plan.
  • The number of credits consumed per action is displayed to you before you confirm the action where technically feasible.

5.2 Purchasing Credits

Credits may be purchased through the Service via our supported payment methods. All prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of purchase. Credits are added to your account balance upon successful payment confirmation.

5.3 No Refunds for Used Credits

Credits that have been consumed (i.e., used to retrieve lead data) are non-refundable under any circumstances. Once a credit has been used to unlock a search result or perform a data retrieval action, that credit is consumed regardless of whether you found the result useful, whether the underlying business data was accurate, or for any other reason.

5.4 Unused Credits

Unused credits purchased as part of a subscription plan may expire at the end of the billing period unless your plan specifies that credits roll over. Credits purchased as standalone top-ups (outside a subscription) have an expiry period specified at the time of purchase. Expired credits are forfeited without refund.

If you cancel your subscription, unused credits from that subscription period are forfeited at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused subscription credits unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

5.5 Credit Balance Visibility

Your current credit balance is displayed in your account dashboard at all times. Cproat will send you a notification when your balance falls below a specified threshold (where this feature is enabled). However, Cproat is not responsible for any loss you suffer due to running out of credits.

5.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change the credit costs associated with specific actions or to change the price of credit packages at any time. Price changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice before taking effect and will not apply retroactively to credits already purchased.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service solely for lawful, legitimate business prospecting and sales intelligence purposes. Specifically, permitted uses include:

  • Identifying potential B2B customers, partners, or suppliers in a specific industry or geographic area.
  • Building targeted outreach lists for sales, marketing, or partnership development purposes conducted in compliance with applicable anti-spam laws (including, but not limited to, Turkey's Electronic Commerce Law, the EU's ePrivacy Directive, and CAN-SPAM in the United States).
  • Conducting legitimate market research and competitive analysis.
  • Exporting lead data into your organization's own CRM or sales tools for internal use.
Important: The data available through Cproat is provided for business prospecting purposes only. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of this data — including any outreach you conduct — complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including data protection, anti-spam, and commercial communication laws.

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following uses of the Service are strictly prohibited. Violation of any of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of credits, and potential legal action:

7.1 Data Resale and Commercial Redistribution

  • Reselling, licensing, sublicensing, or redistributing lead data obtained through Cproat to third parties as a standalone product or data service.
  • Creating a competing product or service that incorporates data scraped or exported from Cproat.
  • Supplying Cproat data to a data broker or list provider.

7.2 Illegal Scraping and Automated Abuse

  • Using bots, crawlers, scrapers, automated scripts, or any non-human means to access, query, or extract data from the Service without our express written permission.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive source code, algorithms, or database schemas from the Service.
  • Performing actions that place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
  • Bypassing, disabling, or circumventing any technical or security measures, access controls, rate limits, or credit requirements of the Service.

7.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

  • Using data obtained through Cproat to send unsolicited bulk commercial emails (spam) or any other form of unsolicited mass communication in violation of applicable law.
  • Sending communications that misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Harvesting contact information for purposes of harassment or stalking.

7.4 Illegal and Harmful Purposes

  • Using the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under the laws of Turkey or any other applicable jurisdiction.
  • Using the Service to facilitate discrimination, harassment, defamation, or any violation of civil rights.
  • Uploading or transmitting any malicious code, viruses, or other harmful software through the Service.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to Cproat's backend systems.

7.5 Account Manipulation

  • Creating fake accounts, providing false registration information, or impersonating any person or entity.
  • Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended features to obtain credits, data, or access beyond what your plan entitles you to.

8. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Cproat does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or reliability of any business data returned by the Service.

The business information displayed through Cproat is sourced from publicly available third-party data sources, primarily Google Places (via the Apify web scraping infrastructure) and OpenStreetMap. This data is not curated, verified, or validated by Cproat before being presented to you. The following limitations apply:

  • Accuracy: Business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, and categories may be outdated, incorrectly listed in the underlying source, or may have changed since the data was last crawled.
  • Completeness: Not all businesses in a given area or category may appear in search results. Absence from results does not mean a business does not exist.
  • Currency: The data is sourced at the time of crawling and may not reflect recent changes such as business closures, relocations, rebranding, or changes in contact information.
  • Geographic coverage: Coverage varies by region and depends on the availability and quality of data in the underlying sources.

You acknowledge that you use the data provided by Cproat at your own risk and that Cproat shall not be liable for any damages resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated data, including but not limited to failed outreach campaigns, wasted sales efforts, or any other commercial loss.

You are solely responsible for independently verifying any business information before acting on it, and for ensuring that your use of such information complies with applicable laws.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Cproat's Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, codebase, user interface, branding, trademarks, logos, proprietary algorithms, and all original content created by Cproat, is owned by or licensed to Cproat and is protected by Turkish and international intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the Service.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Cproat grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9.2 Third-Party Data

Business data surfaced through the Service is sourced from third-party providers (Google Places, OpenStreetMap). That data is owned by its respective sources and is made available through their respective terms of service and public APIs. Cproat makes no ownership claim over this underlying third-party data.

9.3 User-Generated Content

If you add notes, tags, or other custom data to lead records within the Service, you retain ownership of that content. You grant Cproat a limited license to store and process that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on and integrates with third-party services including Supabase (authentication and database), Apify (data crawling), and OpenStreetMap Nominatim (geocoding). Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third parties. Cproat is not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of third-party services.

The Service may contain links to external websites or resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party sites.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data in connection with the Service is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our processing of your data as described therein.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CPROAT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
  • WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY DATA OR CONTENT RETURNED BY THE SERVICE.
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS OR YIELD ANY PARTICULAR COMMERCIAL RESULTS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you in full.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CPROAT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service;
  • DAMAGES RESULTING FROM INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE DATA obtained through the Service;
  • DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT, including the acts or omissions of businesses whose data appears in the Service;
  • DAMAGES CAUSED BY EVENTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL, including service outages at third-party providers such as Supabase or Apify.

IN ALL CASES, CPROAT'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CPROAT IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (EUR 100).

The limitations of liability set out in this section apply even if Cproat has been advised of the possibility of such damages and regardless of the form of action (whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cproat and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms;
  • Your use of data obtained through the Service in a manner that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of any third party;
  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • Any false or misleading information you provide to Cproat;
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of the Service through your account credentials.

Cproat reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defence of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense. You agree to cooperate fully with our defence of any such claim.

15. Termination

15.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by accessing the account settings page and using the account deletion feature, or by contacting us at info@cproat.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy, and any unused subscription credits will be forfeited.

15.2 Termination by Cproat

Cproat reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if:

  • You breach any provision of these Terms;
  • We are required to do so by law or regulatory order;
  • Your continued access poses a security risk to the Service or other users;
  • You engage in conduct that is harmful, fraudulent, or abusive;
  • Your account has been inactive for an extended period (more than 24 consecutive months).

15.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 7 (Prohibited Conduct), 8 (Data Accuracy Disclaimer), 9 (Intellectual Property), 12 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 13 (Limitation of Liability), 14 (Indemnification), and 16 (Governing Law) — shall survive.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

16.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16.2 Jurisdiction

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Istanbul, Turkey. Both parties hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue in Istanbul.

16.3 EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also have the right to refer disputes to the online dispute resolution platform operated by the European Commission at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. However, as Cproat is a B2B service intended for business users only, EU consumer protection provisions may not apply to your use of the Service.

16.4 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable from these Terms and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16.5 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cproat with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Send a notification to the email address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes become effective, except where changes are required by law or are minor and non-material, in which case they may take effect immediately.
  • Display a prominent notice within the Service interface.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account as described in Section 15.1.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The most current version will always be available at cproat.com/terms-of-service.html.
